Gralnak is the most recent of the gods to arrive in Elysium. Born in the depths of Hades, he rose to become first a powerful demon overlord, and then to gain the powers of the deities in a pitched battle between his fanatical followers and the armies of the other gods. His ordination heralded the beginning of a new age for Elysium, and the end of the days of doubt, when the gods were forgotten by the mortals.

Gralnak's aims as a god are mostly unknown, though his hatred for other beings of power and his will to destroy the power of the other deities is well known. He is often credited as the god of chaos, due to his violent nature and encouragement of his followers to follow their own battle urges.

His order is known as the Brotherhood of Gralnak, and since its forming by the ancient Orc chieftain Nishgar many, many centuries alone has grown steadily in power, to the point where it challenges the power of the other orders and often its members surpass the clerics of the other gods, both in battle and crafstmanship.

Most of the brothers herald from the Orcish or Spawn cities, the two bastions of Gralnak's power, but the god is legendary for taking in the most twisted and violent of all the races, violating their nature and turning peace loving people into bloodthirsty beasts of war.

Members of the brotherhood gain powers direct from the Great Worm himself, and as a result they can wield awesome and powerful abilities as his regard for them grows.
