Narkesh Bartholomew

Narkesh Bartholomew, previous emperor of Ruk’tan, refers to his parents as Aurora and Silathis, having been put in the realm to fulfill a prophecy taught to him since his coming of age. His wife Esmeralda Bartholomew was sacrificed by a dagger to Silathis, the Mater of Pain for entry into his order; as such her spirit can be seen traveling with Narkesh at times in a ghost form. Narkesh believes that the Hakarren soul pendant given to him by Silathis and the amulet given to him by Aurora are the keys to releasing the Hakarren race; with these items he has endured countless attacks by enemies trying to retrieve the items, but has guarded them with his life many times over. Though Narkesh has the items to perform the ritual at the location, the location itself over the years has remained a mystery. Its Narkesh’s life long task assigned by Silathis and Aurora to find the area where the Hakarren were locked away and use the items he’s held so dear to release the Hakarren. His years of research as head of the Enchanter of Shadow theorizes him to believe the location can be found through the Shadow Realm or the City of Peace.
