Monastery of Astarot

Nestled in the mountains of Occid, the Monastery of Astarot is a large building dedicated to the worship of the now lost god Astarot.

Though it was once an esteemed centre of worship for the God of the Morning Star, after Astarot was taken from Elysium by the Creator, many of his followers fell into madness for reasons that are currently unknown. The monastery was particularly badly struck by this, and the order members who remained there and tried to stay dedicated to their lord began to carry out strange experiments, creating mutant creatures who now populate the monastery, pitiful beasts that Astarot himself would probably have encouraged the euthanasia of.
