Morgue

Overview

The morgue is a location found in select cities which offers the opportunity for the player to work as a morgue attendant. The morgue is one of three common jobs offered in Elysium.

Strategy

After you apply for work, begin right away putting the chemicals onto the trolley. Read the instructions so you know which chemical to apply. Once you have the chemicals on, have the porter get you some more chemicals. Watch your trolleys as your can ruin a trolley by looking away. Make sure your chemicals don't stay on the trolley too long. Once the corpse starts to be hauled in from the guards, remove their belongings placing in a box by the door. Have the porter take that right away to be dispose of. You can assign the corpse in the meantime to either the assistant or mortician. Never ever give a bloody corpse to the assistant. That is a deduction you don't want to have. Same with the trolleys. Watch the trolleys. I have ruined many trolleys and the boss gets very mad with you. He takes coins from your final pay and many times, I have left with 0 coins and bad reputation in the morgue. So be watchful. Anyway, okay so you determined you can send the corpse to the Assistant. Now the mortician works way faster than the Assistant but remember the Assistant gets very upset at bloody corpse. So I start with the Assistant. Okay have plenty of chemicals and empty boxes. Slowly, more corpse will come. Keep the porter busy. Keep checking in with the Assistant and Mortician to see if they are ready to move the corpse away. The porter will do this. Now if you have him/her off tending boxes or chemicals, you will just have to wait til he is back and ready to move the corpse. I have learnt to check my mortician and assistant often. Get those corpse out and new corpse into the room. You get a deduction for smell in the morgue. That can be up to 100 coins easily. So move them quickly from the mortician and assistant. Keep adding chemicals to your trolley and scrubbing them clean. If they are dirty, the guards have no where to go with the corpse. That is a deduction too. So keep your trolleys clean and corpse free. That is a hard task for the night work. Your porter is off tending to your boxes, chemicals or corpse. You only get one porter and so use your time wisely. I still haven't figure that out correctly myself. Happy Morgue! It really is a challenge to do so good luck!
